There are great manga magazines out there. Teen boys have Shonen Jump, little ones have CoroCoro Comic, and what do the elementary to middle school girls have..? Nakayoshi! (Lit: Close Friends)
Aimed at young girls, this Kodansha mag features love girly stories, and of course the frequent Magical Girl stories. The Other Wiki has a complete list of manga published in Nakayoshi.
Went through a minor Retool in 2010, and is now aimed at an older audience.
