Project X Zone/YMMV

Everything About Fiction You Never Wanted to Know.

  • And the Fandom Rejoiced: Most of the internet's reaction to the game's reveal.
    • The fact that X finally made the cut for a crossover certainly helped add to it.
      • To be specific, X's reveal came off the cancellations of Mega Man Universe and Mega Man Legends 3, the absence of a Mega Man character (by that, we mean derivatives of Megaman/Rockman rather than Zero or Tron Bonne) in Marvel vs. Capcom 3 and the inclusion of Mega Man (and by that, we mean Bad Box Art Mega Man) in Street Fighter X Tekken. After a long period of dickery from Capcom, the return of an actual Mega Man character (let alone X, arguably the most popular of all the Mega Men) was well-received to say the least.
    • The announcement of Sanger Zonvolt fighting on foot, without mecha.
    • The announcement that Monolith of Xenoblade Chronicles fame would be developing this game.
    • Way at the beginning, they announced the original Dante was going to be in the game instead of DINO. Given the reboot's negative reaction and how Ninja Theory said that the original Dante isn't cool anymore, it's great to know that despite their claims, Capcom knows that the original Dante would be better received.
  • Crowning Music of Awesome: From the game's site.
  • Hilarious in Hindsight: Both Haken and Kaguya were expies of Sanger. And now, all three show up; it will be amusing to see how Sanger will react to both of his expies.
  • The Unexpected: Ulala and Demitri were very surprising additions for some. Neither of them were teased, and very few people could see Ulala ever being in an SRPG. As for Demitri, he's usually losing out to Morrigan (although she herself got revealed later).
    • Not to mention you'd expect an SRW character to come with their mecha... but nope, Sanger just picks up a human-sized BFS, and BAM! Instant awesome surprise.
    • To some extent, X.
    • Bruno Dellinger even moreso,
