Prolangs/Characters
Some or all of these characters need descriptions. A list of tropes is not a description. Please provide at least a few words telling how these characters differ from other characters with the same tropelists. |
Characters from Prolangs, in order of date of first main series appearance, include:
Esperanto
Brown hair with shapes vaguely evoking the Esperanto star, and Hair Decoration of the green Esperanto star. Green eyes. Green and white sports coat. Canonically male.
toki pona
Blue and yellow colour scheme, eyeless face mimicking the name for toki pona in toki pona, sitelen pona script. Wearing the clothes of Deltarune character Ralsei (hat, scarf, cloak). Good-natured and joyous. Canonically nonbinary.
- all lowercase letters, as fits the attitude towards friendliness described at that page
Volapük
Brown hair, grey eyes. Stereotypical suit of the bourgeois: top hat, monocle, grey tuxedo jacket with purple tie, globe lapel pin and globe-topped pimp cane dignified walking stick.
Ithkuil
Very tall (height seems to be somewhat connected to vocab size in Prolangs), fantastic or alien appearance. Red and white colour scheme; red eyes, white hair with red tips. Wears red-and-white clothing decorated with Ithkuil script characters. Has red horn-like appendages shaped like a character, approximately like a 7 or inverted L; carries large version of same slung over her back. Precise and calm speaker, fond of clowns. Canonically female.
Solresol
Brown overalls covered with colourful circles and arcs over a blue shirt, black utility boots. Rainbow-coloured hair with Ahoge like a music note's upwards flag. Plays a recorder. Canonically female.
Lojban
A boxy robot with the Lojban logo on the torso where the circles are also speaker grilles. Face also like the logo somewhat. Claw hands and an arrow-like antenna. Red and blue colour scheme.
- Robosexual as evidenced by ZESE's courtship.
Vötgil
Very short as the language (also spelled V0tgil) is oligosynthetic. Monochrome colour scheme, face is a simple smiley; shirt buttons are the shades, number, and orientation of the compact script for the language. Has a diaeresis floating overhead.
kay(f)bop(t)
A four-armed, four-hatted (tophat, fedora, cap, turkey-hat) wacky lunatic. Price tag in spikey yellow hair, heavily-mismatched clothing, is a literal clown, enjoys cookies.
Poliespo
Terrifying and violent person (yet seemingly caring internally) who claims dubious Native American heritage. Wears patched and symbol-stitched clothing in earth tones.
Ygyde
Redhead with grey t-shirt, jeans, and square-rim glasses. Highly descriptive and precise, yet extremely casually discriminatory. Canonically female.
ZESE
Programming language wearing the skin of a conlang. About twice as tall as even Ithkuil and incredibly lanky, face simple like V0tgil's. Wears a cube around head.
Kēlen
Fancy and fanciful dress with cool-shaded celtic knots. Blue hair, kelly green eyes. Never uses a verb (in-world anyway, she speaks English in-medium so she uses verbs there but speaks oddly).
aUI
Space traveller, wearing a blue environment suit with blue and red symbols on it and plus-signs on the kneepads. Periwinkle eyes.
Ido
Similar appearance as #Esperanto, except with blue eyes, a blue sportscoat with blue tie and the three-pointed Ido star on the left pocket, hair similarly spiked, and no hair decoration.
