A group of Orc Bikers calling themselves have rode into town and the citizens of Crystal Cover are suspicious and hostile while Daphne dates their leader, Thog, after being ignored by Fred. But when an impostor Orc Biker breaks into a top secret area it's up to Mystery Inc to clear their names.
The episode provides examples of:
- Badass Bookworm: The Wild Brood are actually Hollywood Nerd Video Game programmers.
- Call Back: The Tiki Lounge from "Battle of the Humngonauts" returns and is mentioned as having been rebuilt.
- Clear My Name: The Wild Brood are not responsible for breaking into the military base but are thrown in jail for it eventually any way.
- Create Your Own Villain: The Wild Brood's shunning Maxwell caused him to make his own Ork Biker costume and destroy the system prototype for revenge.
- Damsel in Distress: Velma, though in this case it's so she'll reroute the train for The Fake Orc Biker while he threteans Scooby to get her to comply and she escapes.
- Fantastic Racism: Against the Wild Brood, baring Daphne and Velma who went out with the bikers to make Fred and Shaggy jealous, saw they were perfectly nice and were with them when the fake biker commited his crime, though the brunt of it comes from Sheriff Stone and Fred.
- Though Sheriff Stone is actually more terrified of their true nerd forms and actually has them keep the masks on as a result.
- Hollywood Nerd: The Wild Brood's real selves, as well as the Fake Orc Biker, their copy boy Maxwell.
- I Want My Beloved to Be Happy: Fred was actually willing to let Daphne go off with Obnarb, but she really loved Fred the whole time or as he put it...
Fred: She digs ME! She digs me! |
- Noble Demon: The Wild Brood It helps that underneath it their a group of harmless nerd.
- Operation: Jealousy: The real reason Daphne went with Obnarb
