Snoot Game is a Ren'Py visual novel parody of Goodbye Volcano High. Development began around 3 days after the latter's reveal trailer on June 11th, 2020, and was initially released on June 4, 2021, with the last major patch released on December 31, 2022.

Players take on the role of the creatively named Anon Y. Mous, a mostly faceless self-insert character who just transferred mid-Senior semester to Volcano High for unspecified reasons. Upon arriving at school, despite him initially planning to remain forgettable and unremarkable for the remainder of the year, he meets the colorful cast of anthropomorphic dinosaur classmates who make up the majority of his interactions throughout the story. He finds himself particularly drawn to the protagonist of the parodied game and love interest of the visual novel, Fang.

The team behind the game, Cavemanon Games, has since announced the development of a similar game titled I Wani Hug That Gator, releasing a demo on May 16, 2023.

Tropes used in Snoot Game include:

• Adaptation Dye Job: The Goodbye Volcano High demo shows an image of Fang's hair being red before the events of the game, with Trish expressing surprise that they dyed their hair silver since she last saw them six weeks ago. In Snoot Game, there's no indication that Fang's silver hair is dyed.
• Adapted Out: Due to Snoot Game being developed while Goodbye Volcano High wasn't released yet, Sage is completely absent in the visual novel since there wasn't enough information about him at the time. Stella was even at risk of this during development as well and barely made it in.
• Alternate History: Unlike our history where the dinosaurs went extinct, Snoot Game is set in a different Earth where they're still around and evolved into human-like anthros.
• Bittersweet Ending: Ending 3. Years after what happened at high school, Anon and a de-transitioned Fang (going by her real name Lucy) get married after he returns from military service, with Lucy having gotten a job at a church helping with children and fundraisers. In the process, however, she becomes codependent on him like with Trish, completely abandoning her music dreams and cutting off her friends, and admits that it's a hollow happiness with none of her problems actually being fixed.
• Downer Ending: Endings 1 and 2. In Ending 1, Fang has a psychotic breakdown after the disastrous show at the prom and an uncaring Anon accidentally revealing that Naomi had manipulated them into getting together. Fang then shoots up the school, killing Naser and Naomi among the other students, and kills herself after accidentally shooting Anon. In Ending 2, Fang double-downs on being non-binary and after Anon begrudgingly accepts it, they skip prom completely and get drunk at the beach. Anon drunkenly reveals that Naomi was manipulating them into a relationship and he insults and demeaning her identity, causing her to hit him and run off, leaving an sad and uncaring Anon lying in the sand. Years later, an even more depressed and pessimistic Anon runs into a depressed Fang playing a gig at a pizza place, having shaved her head and covered her arms in tattoos. He considers speaking to Fang again...but decides that it isn't worth it since he hasn't changed at all.
• The Stoner: Reed. He gets high from Carfentanyl, which was originally a chemical weapon during a war between humans and dinosaurs. Even the recreational version of the drug is stated to be more potent than horse anesthetics a hundred times over, which would outright kill any human that tries to use it.
• What the Hell, Player?: If you make the wrong choices, the game will make sure to let you know by the characters telling Anon he fucked up. If you're on route to Ending 1 before leaving for prom, for instance, Naomi gets pissed at you for making Fang worse, cursing you out before giving you the cold shoulder.
