* [[Hoist Byby His Own Petard]]: During the introduction scene of ''The Book Of Doom'', this somehow manages to happen '''twice'''; first, Psy-Crow shrinks Jim and Peter to microscopic sizes so that he can crush them "[[Metaphorgotten|like some easily crushed thing]]", only for Jim and Peter to then use their new sizes to fly into one of his ears and then hijack his brain in order to make him dance...and then Psy-Crow's resulting ('''very''' bad) dancing ironically results in him crushing Jim and Peter beneath one of his [[Giant Foot of Stomping|massive feet]] after the two of them fly back out of his head through the same ear canal that they entered it through (whether or not Psy-Crow did that on purpose is unknown, however).

* [[Hypocritical Humor]]: At the end of the intro to ''The Book of Doom'', after Jim and Peter [[Hoist Byby His Own Petard|use the “microscopic” size that Psycrow has shrunk them to]] to [[Fantastic Voyage Plot|fly into one of his ear canals]] and then take control over his brain in order to make him dance, Peter tells Jim that “[[Talks Like a Simile|once again, villainy is as a bug beneath his mighty heel]]”; surely enough, one of Psycrow’s [[Giant Foot of Stomping|massive feet]] [[Laser-Guided Karma|crushes both him and Jim]] not even a minute later.
