** In [[Onethe Piece]]series as a whole, bounties seem ''astronomically'' high, if you compare bounties placed on [[Real Life]] pirates of the Elizabethan and Victorian Era to those in the anime. For instance, the first time Buggy appears, he has a bounty of 15 million Berries, and is ''not'' considered dangerous; for real pirates, a bounty of £6 would be considered high even for someone wanted for murder. (Of course, £6 was considered quite a bit of money two centuries ago, but it was not nearly enough to buy back then what 15 million Berries can buy in the ''One Piece'' world.) Members of the main cast have bounties in the hundreds of millions of Berries, which would likely equal several billions of dollars. Not that apprehending them is something most civilians could likely attempt.
** During the Dressrosa Arc, Usopp agreeing to help in the plot against Sugar was done to repay Rebecca for buying him two box lunches; the fact that his actions freed ''thousands'' of her enthralled slaves, leading to Doflamingo being overthrown and Dressrosa being liberated were all incidental fringe benefits.
