During a fight with vampires, Dean is bitten and transformed. To obtain a cure, Samuel tells Dean to get the blood of the vampire that bit him. However, the vampire is the alpha of a pack that Dean must infiltrate.

Tropes

  • Bland-Name Product: Several Twilight-inspired posters are seen in the show but none actually infringe on Stephanie Meyer's copyright. The closest it gets is a horrified Dean comparing himself to "Pattinson".
  • Expy: The vampire Robert and the human girl Kristen are obvious Expies of Edward and Bella, and their actors, Robert and Kristen.
  • Hypocritical Humor -- Dean complains about the 'rapey' behavior in the vampire book series the victim was a fan of, but that's exactly the behavior he does once he gets vampirized himself
  • Not Himself -- Sam
  • Parody -- the teaser mocks the Twilight series
  • Your Vampires Suck -- The whole point of the episode. "This is a national best-seller. How is that possible?"
