Agreed. This hasn't had any examples since we forked from TVT - if it was a trope, it would have had at least one example by now.

Also, it seems kind of mean? And not many works of fiction have a forum moderator or editor like this.

Well... I've been told that I'm a good writer, but I don't know how to re-write this to be less mean and still have all the necessary information (including the bit about doing it repeatedly here is grounds for a tempban). But I'm the first to admit that "a good writer" isn't "a great writer", so if you think you can re-phrase the text, feel free.

As the original author of much (though not all) of this page, long long ago in the once-magical land of TVT, I would rather it not be changed, but I'm not going to issue any kind of command that it not be touched.
