This trope has its three-miracle minimum...

No, wait, that's for sainthood. It's got its three-example minimum -- anyone object to a launch?

Looney Toons (talkcontribs)

Three days, no responses... I'll give this another day or two and then launch unless says me nay.

I don't know much about ''Super Sentai''...

...can someone who does clarify whether its enemies run according to this proposed trope?

GethN7 (talkcontribs)

Some of it does. Some series like Sailor Moon made use of this, especially for the episodes that weren't overly connected to the larger story.

Looney Toons (talkcontribs)

Can you give more detail about which foes you mean from which version of Sailor Moon? From what I recall of the anime, none of the enemies I know of were Sealed Evils except perhaps the Dark Kingdom.

GethN7 (talkcontribs)

If I remember right, a lot of Monsters were sealed inside innocuous objects in some seasons, with some episodes basically being one-offs that didn't really affect the larger plotlines.

Looney Toons (talkcontribs)

Mm. Not quite what I mean the trope to be. The Sealed Evil here is the over-arching enemy for the entire season -- like the Dark Kingdom for season one of Sailor Moon -- not the monster of the week.

Yeah, basically, except on a seasonal basis rather than a weekly.
