If you do, rewrite it. That archive is from 2015.
The farthest it can go back is in 2015 though. Normally, I would try to go 2011 or 2012 as instructed. So, what do I do in a situation like this? Finding archives that only go beyond 2011.
Yeah, this is a problem we recently noticed. For some reason the Wayback Machine seems to be offlining archive pages older than a few years now.
What to do? Like I said, rewrite. The information isn't -- can't be, legally -- covered by copyright, only the expression of it. Sadly, the Playing With pages are less friendly to rewrites than lists of examples are. When in doubt, though, the number one rule is: Don't Copy Anything Word-for-Word. If there's no way to generate our own Playing With page for a trope without it looking like TVT's -- whether we generated it from scratch or not -- it's safest not to have a potential license issue. If you can't make it sufficiently different, bin it.
Been trying to word it differently, so I won't get us into trouble. So where's the bin located?
If you need an entire page deleted, put the {{delete|reason here}} template at the top of the page, with a reason for the deletion where I've put "reason here". One of the admins will sweep it up and take care of it within a day.
I thought I can salvage it/ rewrite it somehow, even though I might need some help. It's that bad, isn't it?
So is there a place around here that's like Trope Workshop? That way I can tweak, rewrite these, and get critiques to make them better.
