I found an example of Just a Face and a Caption. The woman in the image is Joy from Shenmue 2. The image links to Penny Arcade. The caption refers to Odin Sphere, and the only way to get the joke is to read this strip from Penny Arcade. TVT has the strip's third panel as their page image.
