- Once again, the show has enough moments to deserve a separate page. Oddly enough, the Halloween-themed episode, "Scary Godparents" averts this by not being an abysmally scary episode, even given the subjectivity of the trope. The series has, however, other instances in which it's bound to catch you off-guard. For example, the ending of "Beddy Bye" has what is probably the absolutely worst Gross Up Close-Up in the history of Western Animation EVER, even topping Squidward's famous "sure" glare. And then there's the "That's life" episode. One hell of a Zombie Apocalypse. However, if you combine Fridge Horror with Gory Discretion Shot, the result you get is "Timmy's 2D House of Horror". It's named after The Simpsons Halloween Episode series, and for GOOD REASON! Some of its lines say it all.
Timmy's mom: "Who wants spaghetti and |
- And there's "Just The Two Of Us", where Trixie goes BATSHIT.
- In another episode, because of Timmy travelling to the past to prevent his dad from winning a race and thus Timmy's mom, this results in a dystopian future in which Dad becomes a creepy Stepford Smiler to cope with his loss and forces everyone else to be one as well, whom he calls his "children".
- The sequence where Crocker had his memory erased as a child. Brr.
- The episode Lights Out. Cosmo and Wanda's transformation due to being in complete darkness for more than 12 hours....yikes.
- Another very disturbing thing is at the beginning of the episode When L.O.S.E.R.S Attack, when Timmy is incinerated by a type of ray gun. Timmy was standing there and screamed NOOOOO! and then there was a big hole and his hat fell to the ground. Granted, it turned out that it was not really Timmy but it was still unnerving seeing a ten year old boy seemingly vaporized.
