- So Bad It's Good: It's one of the few movies to appear on Mystery Science Theater 3000 that seems watchable on its own. Even Crow admits it's really not as awful as the usual MSTed flick. It's hard to truly hate this movie simply because you get the impression that the cast and crew really wanted to make a decent flick, but just couldn't afford to.
- They Wasted a Perfectly Good Plot: The entire cast of Zap and Troy: The Legendary Journeys should be female.
