Was planning on using: https://allthetropes.org/wiki/File:Trapped_in_game.png . I thought there might be better alternatives, so I thought I'd come here first and explicitly present an opportunity to offer alternatives.

Your image looks interesting. I got two other images that are similar, but in GIF form:

I'm not entirely what is sure going on in the first one. Are the 2 people outside the tv becoming the 2 people inside the tv?

I think I'll to stick with my picture idea if no other suggestions are put forward.
