- When describing a roleplay that has long since been abandoned, would Aborted Arc be apropos, or is there something that more specifically covers that scenario?
- Is it possible to customize the starting number for numbered lists?
- Can the {{tropelist}} template be edited to include a customized statement introducing the tropes section?

In order:
- 1. I suppose, but it's really for stories that just drop a storyline and start something else without resolving it
- 2. Not that we've been able to find.
- 3. If you do something like
{{tropelist|This is the text I want to appear instead of the regular stuff.}}
- you'll get
This is the text I want to appear instead of the regular stuff.
- If you actually go to the template page, it displays complete documentation on this and other options for using it.
Thank you very much. I'll make a note to check template pages for documentation from now on.
As a continuation of the first subject, what trope(s) would be recommended for defunct sites and the like?
Not every template has useful documentation, but it never hurts to check.
We have a special template for websites and web-only works that have completely disappeared, without even a Wayback Machine record -- {{MIA}}. Put that at the top of the page, right under the page type template.
For fan works that simply stopped and never finished up properly, we have Dead Fic. There's no reason you can't pothole that with more appropriate text.
Great! Thanks again!
