Brightburn is a 2019 horror film directed by David Yarovesky and produced by James Gunn. It is a dark retelling of the Superman mythos.
It's the story of Brandon Byers, a 12 year old boy who was discovered in a spaceship by his parents as a baby. He seems sweet...at first, but when he turns twelve, he become dark and uses his newfound powers to bring death and destruction to his hometown.
