tri-Ace is a video game development studio. Originally a spin-off from Wolf Team (which was responsible for Tales of Phantasia), they are now best known for the Star Ocean and Valkyrie Profile series. Motoi Sakuraba is almost always the music composer for their works, and almost all of their games (which mostly consist of Action RPGs) have been published by Square Enix (Enix pre-merger).
