- Many quotes specially from Edward that melt the hearts of fans:
"If I could dream at all, it would be about you. And I'm not ashamed of it." |
- Bella Swan:
"I'll always want you. Forever". |
- Jacob:
"Until your heart stops beating, Bella. I'll be here fighting". |
- Jasper: (After telling the story of how he met Alice)
"I took her hand, and for the first time in almost a century, I felt hope." |
- In New Moon, this troper couldn't have been the only one wanting to cry when Charlie phones Billy and has a go at him over Jacob 'betraying' Bella. That could also count as Charlie's Crowning Moment of Awesome.
- And in Breaking Dawn, Edward's line to Jacob near the end "My brother...my son" had this troper, at 24, sobbing like a baby in the middle of the Tulsa airport the first time I read it.
- I personally find Charlie to be the anthropomorphic personification of this. Comes with being an unconditional, generally unappreciated Papa Wolf, I suppose.
- Moreso in the movie, which eliminated the whole "Good for you, kid, forcing a kiss on my daughter, who now has a mysterious broken hand" bit.
- "More than my own life." Crosses over with Tear Jerker.
- Jacob and Bella growing closer together in New Moon, as well as Jacob and Leah growing closer to one another in Breaking Dawn.
- Back to Twilight (novel)
