We do not permit random strangers off the street to change how the wiki functions, which is what the template you attempted to create here would have done. All change to the wiki's functions and architecture is done by consensus, not by the fiat of random new users. "Consensus" means proposing a change in the wiki forums, making a case for its need and the advantages it offers the wiki, and then obtaining the agreement of a majority of users.
Further, attempting to change part of the wiki functionality as your very first edit is effectively impersonating a wiki moderator. According to section 2.3 of our page How We Do Bans Around Here, "impersonating a mod" is grounds for a warning on the first occurrence and a tempban on the second.
This is your warning. Try to change how the wiki functions again without making a formal proposal and gathering a consensus of the userbase first, and you will be blocked from using the wiki for a minimum of two weeks.
Might I suggest that you actually contribute content to the wiki for a few weeks before you try and impose your ideas of functionality upon it? It helps to have "street cred" as an established user with an actual history on the site -- the other users are far more likely to listen to your ideas.
