You clearly didn't learn last time that this is not your personal playground. In fact, it is obvious that you decided to not bother with trying to gather a consensus by the strength of your arguments, and simply impose your personal vision on the wiki. You expressly made your changes in the wee hours of the morning in apparent hope that no one would notice them and you would "win".

Well, tell you what, bunky. You're banned permanently for deliberate and premeditated vandalism. And it won't be hard to spot and reban you if you sneak back in again. After all, you only make certain changes -- and they're pathetically obvious.

Adding to my fellow moderator's comments (which I support completely):

The changes you are making are linguistically pointless. The Oxford English Dictionary defines god with a lower-case "g" as "a deity", and the Merrian-Webster Dictionary offers "deity" as a synonym for "god" (again, with a lower-case "g"). These are the two most authoritative reference works for the meanings of English words.

You are making these page titles less easy to understand with your changes; you are not enhancing communication or precision.

Then there's the fact that several of his changes pretty much gutted trope names that were mythological, literary and film references. Apparently in utter ignorance of the references, because he strikes me as the kind of arrogant fool who if he knew about them would go and change the titles of The Gods Must Be Crazy and God-Emperor of Dune to suit his personal version of Political Correctness. (I doubt he's actually religious, but I am amused by the thought that he might recite "The Superior Gendered or Genderless Deity's Prayer" by starting "Our Parental figure of any or no specific gender identity, hallowed be Thy Name...")

He is also a Bluenose Bowdlerizer, which is at this point just an aggravating factor, but which by itself would have been worth a ban. Hot God to "S-E-X-Y Deity"? Just what the hell was that supposed to achieve?

It seems there is a time difference between us (location wise). Wherever you are, I am 13 hours behind you. Far from the early hours of the morning, it was early evening where I was. For the record, after my last ban as Jdogno13, I tried to come back but couldn't due to the wiki having some error of some kind. I have only come back as recently as I have because I was finally able to get on to the wiki in a functioning state.

Was there some big maintenance going on since my ban started? When I did come back I found my talk page wiped completely so it only looked as though it was a brand new account. My contributions page was completely wiped as well. I could not access the record of what edits I had done. I could also not find the discussions that I had been part of, specifically who I had them with. The only thing I was hoping to win was the knowledge of further developments since I had previously been on All The Tropes.

I was hoping to be found so I could ask what was going on as I did not know who to ask (I had forgotten anybody who I had a discussion with). But I acknowledge that this was not the best way to go about what I was trying to do.

What do you mean by "certain changes" out of curiosity?

We have already explained at length in the past and in short in this very thread why you are not welcome here. The Thread summary at the top of this thread is the clearest that we can make the reason.

The fact that you created two new accounts after your "Jdogno13" account was banned makes clear to us that either you do not want to understand what you have been told, or you are a troll. I would prefer the former to be the correct reason.

I do not remember being given an explanation before creating Jdogno14.

Why was Jdogno13 banned permanently? I was under the impression that it was only a month ban. But as I explained, some point after the ban was instituted that I had difficulty in accessing the wiki (just looking not editing) and then my account seemed to have been wiped clean. I created Jdogno14 to get back on. I apologise for doing a misguided attempt to communicate with those whom I had discussed matters previously.

I have been asking questions since I came back into contact with yourself and others to understand what has happened since my lengthy absence. I am no troll.

Why is that reason better? I seriously do not understand what you are getting at by that.

I have only created new accounts since Jdogno14 for the sole purpose of communicating to clarify this conundrum.

I will tell you one more time: Your account was blocked because you renamed pages without consensus. This has been explained to you many times. The ban was made permanent because you renamed pages without consensus a second time.
