• Complete Monster: Djinn is the most sadistic Jackass Genie who greatly enjoys making people wish things and warping them into gruesome and nightmarish scenarios.
• Motive Decay: In the first movie, Djinn is will unleash The End of the World as We Know It when the protagonist makes her third wish. In the second movie, he also has to collect one thousand souls before that.
  • That's more a case of Fridge Logic or Canon Discontinuity.

• Sequelitis: Second movie was acceptable, while 3 and 4 were Direct to Video sequels made simultaneously, discarded canon "rules", and didn't have the original actor.
• So Bad It's Good: The acting in these movies is... dubious, at best.
