What would happen if the world of Warcraft series combined with Kirby then random additional characters and references to other franchises were piled on it all? This series is the result.
Created by Xane Myers, World of Kirbycraft's an alternate universe take on Warcraft III's characters and to an extent story, centering on Arthas, the Human paladin who unintentionally causes problems and fights his enemy, Uther, who's on the Undead side.
World of Kirbycraft has four movies (with a fifth one planned, which will connect the previous movies to Mary's Magical Adventure). Most of the movies can be watched on The X Site, though with strange audio sync issues.
Tropes used in World of Kirbycraft include:
- Alternate Character Interpretation: Uther; Instead of helping Arthas fight in the battles, he's his enemy. It gets even more "alternative" after the second movie, when Arthas switches to the Undead, joining him.
- Author Avatar: Xane appears in the movies as a blue kirby who lures Arthas to his world in three of the movies until he's "killed" at the end of the third movie. In the ZDoom-based TC, Xane, angered by Arthas' betrayal and death of his wife, reveals his true form as a giant human that is near-invincible.
- Random Events Plot: Every World of Kirbycraft movie has no plot; Random enemies fight Arthas and occasionally an important battle happens.
- When recording the movies, it was all recorded in one take.
- Take That: In the first movie, Arthas and Xane fight WMG. While they do, Xane states that "copyright sucks and you all know it does!"
- The Wiki Rule: Though not a wiki dedicated fully to it, World of Kirbycraft has pages on Xane Wiki, a wiki on Miraheze!
