  • Big Name Fan: John K has praised Yogi and Boo Boo's personality and character designes numurous times on his blog.
  • Hilarious in Hindsight: Yogi Bear's All-Star Comedy Christmas Caper features Yogi hiding out in a department store, which is a parody of Macy's. The name? Gacy's.
  • Nightmare Fuel: The New Yogi Bear Show has an episode where an earthquake opens temporarily a hole in the bears' cave, leading out into a Flintstones-like stone age version of Jellystone Park. All seems fine until we meet the bears' former selves, who are nothing like what we'd expect from a Flintstones episode. It doesn't help that the main characters could have been trapped forever in that world if they didn't come back home in time.
    • Pretty much all of Boo Boo Runs Wild.
  • The Scrappy: Ranger Rubideux from the 1988 reboot.
  • Awesome Music: Yogi Bear is smarter than the average bear...
  • We're Still Relevant, Dammit!: Yo! Yogi
  • What the Hell, Casting Agency?: Many fans were quite surprised when Dan Aykroyd was cast as the voice of Yogi Bear for the upcoming movie, and even more were outraged when Justin Timberlake was cast as Boo-Boo Bear. Surprisingly, as revealed by the teaser, Timberlake was actually quite spot-on. Aykroyd, on the other hand...
    • Timberlake imitated cartoon character voices as a child as a voice exercise, and Boo-Boo was one of his favorites.
      • One troper was a bit more miffed at the casting of Tom Cavanagh as Ranger Smith. The Ranger in the cartoons was a tough guy who was always yelling at Yogi. Tom Cavanagh portrays him as a Reasonable Authority Figure who really can't control Yogi. The fact that he manages to give Yogi a "The Reason You Suck" Speech without even raising his voice, and is awesome while doing it, shows that the casting was wrong. Cavanagh's Mr. Ranger was not a terrible character, but he wasn't really what comes to people's minds when they think of Ranger Smith.
