    • Tomokazu Seki voices Frog, Pigeon, and Eagle.
    • IKKAN voices both Bishop and the MC.
    • Masaaki Yano voices both Knight and Boot.
    • Minami Takahashi voices Roboppy and a young Ryoken Kogami.

  • Blooper:During Soulburner and GO's Duel, Soulburner shuffles Falco and Jack Jaguar from his Graveyard to his Deck by the Effect of Rise of the Salamangreat. However, the only Monsters with Levels in Soulburner's Graveyard at the time were Jack Jaguar and Meer, as Falco was shuffled into the Deck due to Jack Jaguar's Effect, and thus Ritual Summoning Emerald Eagle should've been impossible as Soulburner tech
  • Casting Gag:This isn't the first time Takahiro Sakurai voices a digital being.
  • Celebrity Voice Actor:Shouya Ishige, voice of Yusaku, is a Japanese actor who had a few minor voice roles before he was cast into VRAINS.

    • Yu-Gi-Oh! Try for the series itself, mainly for its Tag Line being a recurring theme.
    • With the introduction of Speed Duels, many fans would usually call it "Duel Links: VRAINS Version".
    • HACKERMAN for Yusaku. Sometimes Skater Boi instead
    • Hotdog guy for Kusanagi (Koulter). Sam Black has embraced this one. .

  • Names the Same: Vrains isn't first YGO series to have a character named Haru.
  • One of Us: Many English dub VA most notable ones are Sam Black (Kolter), Daniel J Edwards (Varis and Go) and Barret Leddy (Akira) are crazy fans of vrains and they frequently communicate with fans in their social media account.
  • Promoted Fanboy:
    • Shunsuke Takeuchi, best known for his voicework on THE iDOLM@STER: Cinderella Girls' Producer, has followed the Yu-Gi-Oh! franchise since his younger days.
    • Yuuki Kaji, who provides the voicework for Takeru Homura/Soulburner, reveals in an interview that he got into Yu-Gi-Oh! since the original series manga commenced serialisation, and is honoured to be given the opportunity to contribute his voicework to the franchise's anime series.
    • Miku Kobato of Band-Maid considers it an honour that the band was chosen to perform ED4, "glory", as someone who personally has been a fan of Shueisha's Jump since her childhood.

    • Yuki Nakashima (Aoi/Blue Angel) and Shunsuke Takeuchi (Revolver) voiced Yuki Otokura and the Producer, respectively, of THE iDOLM@STER: Cinderella Girls.
    • Vyra's VA Ami Koshimizu and Ai's VA Takahiro Sakurai voiced Kallen Kozuki and Suzaku Kururugi in Code Geass respectively which is one of their Star-Making Role
    • Takahiro Sakurai (Ai) and Yuuki Kaji (Takeru/Soulburner) are voiced Rohan Kishibe and Koichi Hirose in Jo Jo'sBizarreAdventure.
    • Yuuki Kaji (Takeru Homura/Soulburner) and Subaru Kimura both provided voicework for Rentaro Satomi and Takuto Yasuwaki repsectively, in Black Bullet.

  • I Knew It!:
    • Many fans guessed that Jin and to a lesser extent Specter was one of the 6 lost kids
    • Many fans have guessed that Dr Kogami was a reasearcher of SOL and the one behind Hanoi Project
    • After so many speculation about the Ignis and the Lost incident since show started .Many fans guess that the 6 kidnap children are used to create the 6 Ignis's/AI's and many also guessed that Ai was based from Yusaku thanks to Revolver confirming the theory
    • While Aoi & Aqua's relationship is not what many expected, many people from the beginning of the series predicted they would eventually team up. Come episode 77 it finally happened.
  • Jossed:
    • Revolver being Jin is jossed and in 19 it confirms that they are two separte people and when we see Jin he looked mental and broken with Purple hair while Revolver in real life have white hair with blue highlights
  • Star-Making Role:

    • Yusaku Fujiki is Shouya Ishige's first major voice acting role.
    • Emma Bessho is Yuna Kamakura's first major voice acting role same applies to her English dub VA MeghanMacPhee.
  • In English Dub
    • Akira Zaizen is Barrett Leddy's first major voice acting role.
