Matters of Honor
Delenn: These ships, once they target you, they never stop, never slow down, never give up, until they have destroyed you. They are nearly invincible. |
This episode contains examples of:
- Call Back: Londo recognizes the Shadow ship in the video as the ones in his dream. It later occurs to him that he's never seen the ships Morden's associates use.
- Continuity Nod:
- Marcus uses the fact that Minbari do not react well to alcohol to help prove who he is
- The jumpgate they use for the Bonehead Maneuver is the one in the Markab system, which Sheridan feels can be destroyed to prevent grave robbing.
- Cool Starship: The White Star makes her first appearance.
- Crazy Enough to Work: Sheridan uses the "Bonehead Maneuver", opening a jump point inside an active jumpgate, which releases a huge amount of energy, to destroy a Shadow ship.
- Early Installment Weirdness: Marcus claims in this episode that he seldom speaks unless he has something worth saying. Which is odd given that after this episode, he barely shuts up for two years.
- Government Conspiracy: By the end of the episode it's clear that elements in Earthdome are working with the Shadows.
