  • Crowning Moment of Awesome: Eddie Guerrero's defeat of Brock Lesnar at No Way Out 2004 to win the WWE Championship.
    • His match with Kurt Angle at Wrestlemania XX a month later.
    • Not one for Eddie himself, per se, but at Judgement Day 2004, the crowd was white-hot for Eddie. Not only was he at perhaps the height of his popularity, but he was in the middle of a feud with the pseudo-racist conservative JBL, who had garnered heat by denigrating Eddie's Mexican heritage. Judgement Day that year was held in Los Angeles, and the sheer outpouring of rabid support dominated the entire card, where "Eddie!" chants were being yelled all night long.
    • His ECW matches with Dean Malenko are master classes in wrestling technique.
  • Crowning Moment of Funny: Los Guerreros. Just...Los Guerreros.

Eddie Guerrero: We lie, cheat & steal, but hey - At least we're honest about it.

    • The time he gave The Big Show a tainted burrito, causing Big Show to have to flee the ring in the middle of a match to a bathroom.
    • Pulling a Not My Driver on JBL.
      • "We are going for a ride! AND IT'S GONNA BE BETTER THAN DISNEYLAND, HOMES!"
  • Crowning Moment of Heartwarming: The ending of Wrestlemania XX, where Eddie came out to celebrate Chris Benoit's World Heavyweight Championship win with him. Somewhat of a Funny Aneurysm Moment at this point, but it's still a great moment.
  • Draco in Leather Pants: Following his return to WWE in 2002, Eddie was cheered by fans whether he was a heel or a face. About three years later, he had to virtually murder Rey Mysterio to get fans to boo him.
  • Ear Worm: The last entrance theme Eddie used before his death, "Gangster Lean".
  • Ensemble Darkhorse: Eddie in WCW; it wasn't until he went to WWE that he became a true superstar.
    • It's worth noting that Eddie was the only WCW wrestler that the nWo put over at nWo Souled Out 1997, during their Spotlight-Stealing Squad stage. (The Steiners won their match against The Outsiders, but their Tag Team Championship win was reversed on the next Nitro).
  • Evil Is Cool: "Lie, Cheat and Steal"
  • Funny Aneurysm Moment: In the Smack Down vs Raw 2006 video game, Eddie was featured in a storyline that ended with The Undertaker buring him alive. The game was released the weekend of his death. If you lived in PAL territories, you got the game & possibly played the storyline prior to before Eddie's death, but the game wasn't released in America until two days after he had died.
  • Grew the Beard: Eddie was always a good wrestler and popular with the fans but his second run in the WWE after overcoming his drug addictions really stands out as the point where his natural charisma really took off with fans. Getting rid of the mullet probably helped a bit, too.
  • Harsher in Hindsight: During Eddie's first match in WCW after getting into a serious car accident, the commentators make almost non-stop remarks about how great he looks and how it doesn't even look like he was in any pain after the accident. It was due to this accident that he started abusing drugs.
    • The promo for Eddie Guerrero vs JBL at Judgment Day 2004 could count as well. In the promo, Eddie had invited his family into the ring when JBL showed up. JBL took out Eddie with a belt shot then turned towards Eddie's mother, who suffered a heart attack. Knowing what we know now as to how Eddie died (the same way), it makes this promo harder to watch.
  • Misaimed Fandom: After a few weeks of frustration concerning tag partner Tajiri, Eddie Guerrero went berserk when Tajiri touched his low-rider (in reality, Tajiri had been thrown into the car by an opponent) and tossed Tajiri into the windshield. The next SmackDown, Eddie cut a promo saying that he was only going to look after number one, which was supposed to be a heel turn, but the fans had begun to buy into the Lie, Cheat, and Steal face persona cultivated just a few weeks prior with Los Guerreros' feud with Team Angle that the action fit the criteria, and the crowd cheered for Eddie. Suffice to say, Eddie stayed a babyface.
  • Shocking Swerve: The revelation that Eddie was the biological father of Rey Mysterio, Jr.'s son Dominick.
