- Awesome, Dear Boy: Jessica Alba got to star in the films because she wanted to play a superhero since childhood.
- California Doubling: Most of the New York scenes were shot at Vancouver.
- Doing It for the Art: After Michael Chiklis got the part of the Thing, he insisted on using make-up instead of motion capture, creating a more realistic experience.
