Housemates is an ongoing Original Character Tournament created by YukoHanna and hosted on DeviantArt. The tournament is set in a haunted house which is being promoted by a new TV series called 'Housemates.'
Tropes used in Housemates (original character tournament) include:
- Action Duo: Fuyu and Aki, Jeri and Rein, Rob and Bonbon, Steve and Marco

- Another Dimension: Baimu accidentally crashed into our one.
- Battle Butler: B.O.T
- Berserk Button: Don't call Cassidy a freak.
- Blood Bath: Round 1, Pan got pulled into one.
- Curiosity Killed the Cast: A bunch of people are locked inside a haunted mansion. This is going to end fine.

- Cowardly Lion: Rob.
- Deadpan Snarker: Pan.
- Embarrassing First Name: Pansy the Faun.
- Friendly Neighborhood Vampire: Davey… and he doesn’t even realize he is one half the time.
- Haunted House: The very setting of the tournament.
- Mad Scientist: Cassidy Madson.
- Meaningful Name: A couple of instances.
- Pansy the Faun. (A pansy is a type of flower, and also a derogatory term for a wimp. His preffered nickname, Pan, is also the name of a Greek god.)
- Roots. Her name compliments the fact she can control plants.
- Scarecrow. He can apparently scare away animals quite easily.
- Odd Friendship: Keith and Ethan, Ebenzer and Algernon
- Official Couple: Robs and Roots.
- Precision F-Strike: Bonbon likes to be blunt at times.
- Put Their Heads Together: B.O.T does this to Ebenezer and Algernon during the first round.
- Red Eyes, Take Warning: B.O.T.
- Ridiculously-Human Robots: Rob is very sensitive for an artificial being.
- Robot Maid: A male variation of B.O.T.
- Scary Shiny Glasses: The Director. Cassidy Madson.
- Silent Bob: Scarecrow, he doesn't even say a lot in his own mind.
- Slash Fic: Davey/Scarecrow has just taken off.
- What Could Have Been: Like a few other OCTs, Housemates got more auditions than there were entry slots, which resulted in quite a few characters being cut.
