Journey to the Skyline is a 2018 web comic by Mike Girardin about a young lizard girl inventor named Cora. She lives on the skyline a series of floating islands above a planet that's been vacant due to pollution. She wants to explore the planet but runs into many obstacles along the way.

She builds robots including a robot buddy called Blip.

Later Cora meets Arlie, a former witch snark girl who wishes for a better life in the Skylines.

They eventually team up to reach their goals.

  • No Good Deed Goes Unpunished: Arlie rescues a kid from a rampaging bear in the forest. But when the kid's parents catch up to him they blame her for their kid being in distress. He tries to speak up for her that she saved him but is merely hushed not to do so by the mom.
  • Pokémon-Speak: Cora's robot sidekick Blip just says its name.

  • Robot Buddy: Blip is Cora's sidekick whom she built.
  • World in the Sky: The premise of the lore with the skyline being its name.
