MW is a 2009 Japanese live-action film based on the manga by Osamu Tezuka.
Starring:
- Hiroshi Tamaki as Michio Yuki
The movie adaptation provides examples of:
- Creepy Crossdresser: Subverted when Michio only wears the headdress of a nun.
- Cowboy Cop: Lt. Sawaki
- Death by Adaptation: Subverted. Michio is presumed killed in the explosion of his jet, but in the end, he turns out to be alive.
- Distressed Damsel: Brutally subvered when Aiko is collaborating with Michio all this time; therefore, she wasn't kidnapped in the first place. Double subverted when he kills her after her father got his money.
- Et Tu, Brute?: Unlike in the manga, Garai attempts to betray Michio over to the police. He even joined with Sawaki in the end.
- Forced to Watch: Yamashita get into this when Michio ties him up in a tower to make him watch the new of being framed for pilfer 100 million yen into accounts.

- Playing Against Type: Hiroshi Tamaki, a real Bishonen, plays Michio Yuki in the movie adaptation.
