Matte World Digital (also known simply as Matte World) is an effects studio that has mainly provided Matte Paintings for several movies and commercials. (They also have provided CG Animation and miniatures when the need arises).

The Studio first established in 1989 as an offshoot to effects company Industrial Light and Magic. And has worked with ILM nearly a dozen times.

See also Illusion Arts, another Matte Painting studio that unfortunately closed its doors.
