• Colbert Bump: When footage of Attack of the Killer Tomatoes was used in the "Attack of the Silly Tomatoes" story, it actually piqued interest in that old Cult Classic, and inspired a sequel, Return of the Killer Tomatoes.

• Funny Aneurysm Moment: When the gang film their own version of Star Wars, Kermit and Piggy play Luke and Leia as the Official Couple. Guess they hadn't seen Return of the Jedi yet...
  • Fridge Brilliance: Maybe Gonzo at least saw it. After all, who was it that played Leia's true love Han Solo? Gonzo.
• Hilarious in Hindsight: There have been hints made that Gonzo is an alien.
  • In "Kermit Goes to Washington": Gonzo has a fantasy where he banishes all rules, which cause from chaos. Fast forward to 2014 when a principal in New Zealand opts to remove rules from the playground. If kids wanna play games, they have to create their own and police themselves. This result in a dropped in bullying and vandalism because the kids were too busy on other activities. While in class, there was an increase grades because such tactic required ingenious problem solving skills. Gonzo suddenly doesn't seem to strange after all.

  • "I'll Be Blue For You." Given that it's Gonzo singing it you'd think it'd be nothing but Narm, but... damn, even as an adult it's hard not to break down into a quivering heap at this. You can imagine what it did to the kids in the audience. The fact that it's also an Ear Worm really doesn't help matters. * Sniff!*
