- Ensemble Darkhorse: Hector and Roark, a halfling barbarian and orc wizard, respectively. The two of them are adventuring companions who have shown up in passing in a few comics.
- Fridge Brilliance: Serrin's father Lucrid used Summon Instrument to drop a piano on a lich. Which, according to the rules, means that he's strong enough to lift a piano. And he had to have been swinging from something to boot.
- Hilarious in Hindsight: Although the team doesn't yet know about Lloyd being gay, there are certain moments that could become funny/awkward in hindsight if they do find out. (Or, in some cases, funnier.)
- Magnificent Bastard: Rust. Just... Rust.
- Memetic Badass: Lucrid uses grand pianos as handheld instruments and drops them on the heads of Big Bads whilst swinging from chandeliers.
- Back to Murphy's Law (webcomic)
