Phenomena (novel)
The first in a series of young adult fantasy novels by Norwegian author Ruben Eliassen.
The mortok race are keeping elves as their slaves, but because of a prophecy (called Phenomena) are they hoping to one day to be free. The prophecy is about two elf children, freeing their world from the evil power called Tarkan. Tarkan is a thought that lives on negative thoughts and emotions from humans. Tarkan has the ability to posses people, especially adults, but it doesn't work on children, since children has pure thoughts. Therefore only children can make the prophecy come true, and therefore it's up to the elf twins Alk and Ilke...
