• Sailor Moon has "Ai no Senshi", "Moon Revenge", and "La Soldier". Also, while the dub is what it is it gave us "Carry On".
  • "Sailor Star Song", the Sailor Stars OP yet. It's the best OP in the series. It's also a song I've been trying to get out of his head since 1998.
    • Forget that, Moonlight Densetsu is tops.
      • Especially the last time it plays. It completes the entire series.
  • And then there's Sailor Senshi Shuuketsu, which, if I remember correctly, first plays as Sailor Moon is forced to leave the rest of the Senshi behind to die in the traps of those five monsters and face Beryl alone. Yeah, I cried.
  • The dub also gave us "My Only Love," which makes the scene where the Moon Princess is revealed.
    • The dub did this a few times. Even the most purist of fans admit that Carry On, My Only Love, A New Day, and a few others fit the scenes just as well, and in some cases better, than the original.
    • This troper is especially fond of It's a New Day, and regrets not hearing on his birthday.
    • And who could forget Oh Starry Night, which was so good that it sent This Troper into depression for several months because he wished his life was as cool.
  • "The Power of Love" from the dub version of the battle against Wiseman
  • How is it possible to forget the Outer Senshi theme. Go on admit that you can expect badass moments whenever this song comes on.
  • Another dub one: "She's Got The Power". Come on, it's by Stan "The Touch" Bush, how can it not be awesome?
    • This troper always felt that She's Got The Power sounded like Simple Minds. So, yeah. It's awesome alright.
    • Even the creator of Sailor Moon Uncensored, who chronicled all the differences between the original and the dub (and usually leaning quite negatively on the dub) had to admit that "She's Got the Power" was a much better dramatic fit for such an important showdown than just playing "Moonlight Densetsu" again.
  • The German OP.
  • Golden Queen Galaxia, the Image Song for the villain of the last season, is somehow good enough to make xylophones sound badass. It sounds heartbreaking yet great when slowed down into an "orgel locket" version, too.
    • And here is said locket version which this Troper is very fond of.
  • The Dead Moon Circus is the villain group with the best theme.
  • The Sailor Starlights' transformation theme, like that of the Senshi of the Outer Solar System, is awesome.
  • Any time Michiru plays the violin, it's a crowning music of awesome. Thank you, Vanessa Mae.
  • Rica Fukami isn't exactly a singing seiyuu like others, but in Route Venus she showed that she can handle more than her own. No wonder Naoko Takeuchi says this is one of her favorite Sailor Moon songs!
  • And then we have the eerily beautiful One-Woman Wail from the S season, Hymn of Saturn
  • And last but not least (by now)? The famous, yet unnamed piano song from episode 110, featured when the Inners think of the Outers and are depressed as they realize how different they are, while Michiru comforts a doubtful Haruka. Starts around 7:35.

  • The monster themes for the Daimons and Lemures.
  • This one, especially in combination with Usagi breaking down crying on the roof.
  • The second half of the "Sailor Saturn" track from the S season combines Psycho Strings and gratuitous use of the Scare Chord for chilling moments in the Death Busters' lair, such as when the newly manifested Mistress 9 reveals the coming arrival of Pharaoh 90 to Sailors Moon, Uranus, and Neptune.
  • Ooh, it's such a shame that Otome no Policy is so far down this list.
