Saints Row: Gat out of Hell/Funny

Everything About Fiction You Never Wanted to Know.

  • After the Boss disappears into a portal after Ouija board party game gone wrong, Johnny immediately turns to Matt Miller and demands to know where he got it. The look on Johnny's face when Matt tells him just screams What an Idiot!
  • Johnny and Kinzie elevate Mood Whiplash to an art form. They land in Hell, look around in shock for a few seconds, the immediately set about stealing a car like it's just another Saints mission.
  • Torture Fraud is the old "Traffic Fraud" game, only this time you play as an undead husk you basically have to put through Hell (all over again), but aside from the fact the physics are as hilarious as they were in Saints Row IV it's not really all that different. The real funny part is cheesy narration in the background explaining why you are torturing the husk you're playing as, which sounds disturbing peppy and cheerful.
  • The cheesy musical number. Try not to die laughing as Satan, Jezebel, Johnny, and Kinzie inhale huge chunks of the scenery with every line.
    • Turns into a Brick Joke when Jezebel meets Johnny for the first time, is about to break out into song, and he immediately stops her with "We're not doing that again."
  • It's no secret you can kill Dex, but the developers went out of their way to make him an Asshole Victim. He's basically a husk with a purple headband that can be be easily outrun, killing him requires no effort at all, and the game itself draws a big fat target over him whenever he appears, just to make it easy to hunt him down and kill him over and over again. And, as if the sadistic glee the developers had in encouraging you to kill the guy wasn't obvious enough, you even get a nice reward and even an achievement for repeatedly murdering the bastard.
