My Life Is Average (abbreviated MLIA) is a website comprising user-submitted stories about their daily lives. Stories often follow the format, "Today [amusing but mundane thing] happened. MLIA." The first stories published were genuinely average: Things about eating, sleeping or going to class. The site has since evolved into a celebration of the everyday extraordinary, including unusual sightings, lucky finds and Harry Potter references. MLIA.

My Life Is Average provides examples of:

Adorkable: Damn near the entire site.
Crowning Music of Awesome: Frequent stories feature sing-alongs to everything from Disney music to Queen.
Follow the Leader: Fuck My Life and My Life Is Twilight, among others.
Fridge Brilliance: Anyone else wonder why they don't label the new ones like FML? Because everything there is meant to be "average" and regular, so labeling the new ones would make them different from every other one.
