The Stanley Parable: Ultra Deluxe
Oh, new content!

The Stanley Parable: Ultra Deluxe is a 2022 game that expands upon The Stanley Parable. It adds new content that is accessible after a certain number of endings.

The first bit of new content seems minor, just a couple of elevators and a "jump circle". However, it is then followed by a sequence of endings. The first is the Skip Button Ending, an ending involving a "Skip Button".

Followed by this, there is the "Sequel Ending", where Stanley goes through an expo of a new "sequel" to the game. Some of the new features shown in the expo are then added to the game, such as a bucket that you can carry with you and collectable figurines. After all of those are collected, the player goes through an area where they go through the figurines again. After this, the player can access an epilogue.

The Stanley Parable Ultra Deluxe shares many tropes with its predecessor, The Stanley Parable, but in addition to these there are the following:

Tropes used in The Stanley Parable: Ultra Deluxe include:
  • Ascended Glitch: The ability to get to the bottom of the Mind Control Facility was a bug from The Stanley Parable, but now it is a separate ending. This is also lampshaded by the Narrator.
  • Bottomless Pit: Subverted with the Infinite Hole in the Sequel Ending, where the hole actually has a bottom and even gets less and less deep every time Stanley goes into it and teleports back up to the surface.
  • Companion Cube: The Stanley Parable Reassurance Bucket (also known as the Bucket) is, according to the Narrator, Stanley's "best friend".
  • Go Mad From the Isolation: This happens to the Narrator when Stanley keeps pressing the skip button as the button causes Stanley to skip through increasing periods of time.
  • Nostalgia Level: The Memory Zone is this as it contains mementos of areas from the original game such as the Serious Room and the Minecraft world and Portal test chamber.
  • One-Way Entrance: The door to the Skip Button room disappears after Stanley presses the skip button a few times.
  • Self-Deprecation: In the New Content Ending, the "new content" is originally just a "jump circle" and elevators.
    • Also, if you somehow manage to go into your office with the bucket and shut the door, the Narrator will talk about how the bucket versions of classic endings are just the same but with descriptions of a bucket added.
  • The Dev Team Thinks of Everything: The Narrator will react if you do things such as not going into the vent that leads to the Memory Zone or attempting to exit the Stanley Parable 2 Expo without getting the bucket or the first of the collectibles, even going so far as to blocking the way with a brick wall in the latter case.
  • We Hardly Knew Ye: The Bucket Destroyer is introduced in the bucket version of the Confusion Ending. However, it then explodes because destroying buckets is all it knows.
