Please do not post pornographic imagery

While we are "uncensored", we do try to keep the page imagery work-safe, though you can link to NSFW images to illustrate your point, so long as they are clearly labeled as such.

Also, if you lifted a page TV Tropes deleted from July 2012 or earlier, please make it clear somewhere, like in the edit reasons or a commented out note.

Ah, I see. Are there any other limitations besides "no NSFW/NSFL images", or can the content on this site go completely unrestricted barring that one exception? I can't find a rules page of any sort here, so I'm not sure what the guidelines are.

Aside from that, the pages you made are fine, but we would like to make sure you are using something not from TV Tropes AFTER July 2012 (they changed their copyright license, we can use content after then unless it was your own edits only). If they were made from scratch, then ignore this, you're fine.

As for the images, it's partially a rule we inherited from TV Tropes we decided to keep, and partially for the benefit of our wiki hosting, which would prefer we don't host hardcore porn. Linking to other sites with that content is fine though, since that's outside our responsibility, just mark the link with a (NSFW) warning please.

More information on our policies is here:

There's a small easily-overlooked set of links at the bottom of every page - one of those is "Disclaimers". Clicking on that takes you to All The Tropes:General disclaimer, a link on that page takes you to All The Tropes:Terms of Service, and a link on that page takes you to All The Tropes:Content Guidelines.

We need to do a better job of making the Content Guidelines page more visible. It is our fault that you couldn't find it.

That said... The big rule is number 1 on the Terms of Service page: "You promise not to be a huge jerk on our site. This includes page vandalism, link spamming, abusive behavior, illegal acts (in the United States or the Netherlands), or trying to drown out others' opinions. While we expect and encourage different points of view, we don't need disagreements to affect the abilities of others to enjoy the site." The rules against pornography are in place because some of these other people are below the age of majority in their home countries, and having the entire wiki cut off from them by censorware would affect their ability to enjoy the site.
