There's a pair of links at the bottom of the Featured Article box on the main page. Nobody's added a nomination in over two years.

Regarding the Featured Articles, I was going to suggest World War II, but what's up with the message saying that you guys aren't accepting anymore nominations?

You are a user here, with no more special rights than any other user gets. Remember that getting into arguments with us admins is a fast track to getting a tempban or worse. You do not make demands of us, you do not order us around. Be marginally polite and you will be surprised how much you can get away with. Act like a spoiled brat, as you have been, and you will be given a timeout or even forced to play elsewhere.

Expanding on what my fellow admin has said: It's all right to complain when an admin does something wrong, or to have a civil debate with an admin. It is not all right to ignore the admins altogether, or to demean anyone who contributes to the wiki, or to make demands, or to behave in any other way that violates Rule 1 of the Terms of Service.

Regarding featured articles, they could add the rest of the major wars when a certain anniversary rolls around. But I feel that will get old after an while. There's other stuff out there, but the pages that I have in mind are: Outdated or haven't been created.
