Let's get what I have onto the wiki in around the end-of-month 503s...

Starting with the lists linked at the start of each city's list, with the scientists, sports stars, and politicians removed.

Now what?

Leave the redlinks and count on Wiki Magic to fill in the gaps? C'mon, these are Canadians; almost nobody outside Canada has heard of most of them, and almost nobody in Canada cares.
Delete the redlinks? A lot of these people should have pages here, though.

Pulled many redlinks off the lists, left a few on. I think this is a good compromise. And the bluelinks stayed on the lists.

If we need to make pages for cities, see w:Category:Canada in fiction by city for starting lists of works set in Canadian cities.

People from Ottawa

(Yeah, we'll need a page for Ottawa to put this on. Under the Umbrella Tree was set in Ottawa. See w:Category:Ottawa in fiction for more works. OSFS might be able to provide a list of F&SF works set in Ottawa. Ottawa Independent Writers might be able to help with more mainstream works set in Ottawa. GoodReads has a list. This list is ready to go.)
