...for two reasons:

  • One, there are a number of bizarre markup/potholing errors that we presume were actually caused by the Visual Editor, which is known to do remarkably stupid things to content added or edited using it. A few examples:

staffed by f[[Ascended Fan|ellow passionate Vocaloid fans]]
[[Breakout Character|Breakout Characte]]<nowiki/>r:

  • Two, you have a number of passages which are lifted word-for-word from TV Tropes' equivalent page. This is copyright infringement as the copied material postdates the fork and TV Tropes' subsequent change of license in 2012. Because All The Tropes and TV Tropes run under different Creative Commons licenses, content created there after 2012 cannot legally be used here without the express written approval of all the editors who contributed to it.

Feel free to rewrite the material in your own words and resubmit it, but we strongly recommend you read our Copyrights policy first. You may also want to use the Source Editor -- the "edit source" link at the top of the page. While it requires you learn our markup, it eliminates the stupid stuff the Visual Editor does.

Finally we strongly recommend that you read All The Tropes:How We Do Bans Around Here. This isn't a threat -- this is the wiki policy strictly controlling how and when user bans can be applied by an Admin. We want you to be aware that unlike TVT, we do not ban users on whims or because we're cranky.

good evening, thank you kindly for getting back to me and being so patient. i guess i was badly spaced out that night and forgot that copy-pasting passages from one wiki to another is outright copyright infringement, so that's why i just slapped those down and called it a day, but i'll keep it in mind for future edits (as well as working with the source editor so my submissions won't get chewed up with errors. i like to edit in giant chunks at a time so i'd imagine both the vocaloid and owl house proposals looked like spaghetti when they first came in, to which i have to say: i am so, so sorry for making you guys sit through that).
