Wombania
Wombania is a webcomic by Peter Marinacci about a group of Wombies (genetically-engineered wombats) who live with their only remaining human relative, an unassuming twenty-something bachelor.
It is rendered in a 3-D computer animation style in full color. The format of the strip is done in the tradition of a Newspaper Comic since a black and white version is also syndicated to weekly newspapers.
Most of the strips deal with how the Wombies adapt to and interpret the human world in which they now live.
Characters:
- Binky, the oldest and wisest Wombie, is a rocket scientist with a dream of one day reaching the moon.
- Winky is Binky's brother. A little slow-witted at times, he is nonetheless kindhearted and always willing to help out.
- Twink is the lone female Wombie, and as such ends up taking care of the gang more often than not.
- Fraz is the young rebel who constantly questions authority while trying to fit in at school.
- Chris, the hapless human who ended up with the responsibilities of adopting the Wombies, tries his best to maintain control.
