  • Played Straight: Maria is very muscular and it is emphasized as beauty.
  • Exaggeration: Each shot or scene Maria is in, has her flexing and posing for the camera.
  • Downplayed: Maria has some slight but defined biceps and hints of muscle, but doesn't show it off too much.
  • Justified: Maria engages in Training from Hell and decides she wants to show her muscles off.

    • Maria is very thin and this is emphasized as sexy.
    • Or instead of being very sculpted her skin is smooth with no muscles.
  • Subverted: The camera pans up Maria muscular body, but when it reaches her face, it is revealed that she has a very manly face and has the voice of man.

  • Parodied: The combined weight of Maria's breasts and muscles makes her so heavy that she falls over.
  • Deconstructed: Maria maybe be the Ms. Fanservice of the show, it's largely for the audience's benefit. In-story she's regard as unattractive by most of the cast and those who do find her attractive are too intimidated to approach her.
  • Reconstructed: Maria doesn't let other people's negativity towards her body tear her down. At the very least she knows that if someone does muster up the courage to approach, they're serious about a relationship.
