- Fan Nickname: R'Tas Vadum (the Elite counterpart to Lord Hood) is also known by fans as "Half-Jaw" because, well, you know...
- Hey, It's That Voice!: Halo 3 was the first videogame dubbed in Mexico (Halo 2 has Latin American voice acting, but it was dubbed by a Spanish-speaking studio in Miami, FL, and it was considered as really awful). After the public outcry about that dub, Microsoft decided to dub the game in Mexico instead:
- Master Chief is Bender Rodriguez and Shanks.
- Cortana is Master Tigress and Rem.
- Miranda Keyes is Tsunade and Princess Fiona.
- Sgt. Johnson is Frieza, Tuxedo Mask and Might Guy.
- 343 Spark is Shinji Ikari, Sasuke Uchiha and Adult Goten (this is also Hilarious in Hindsight if you can consider that he killed Sgt. Johnson or in context, Goten killed Frieza.
- The Prophet of Truth is The Fallen (also count as Hilarious in Hindsight since both characters are killed in almost the same way, but not before receiving a Pre-Mortem One-Liner).
- Lord Hood is Piccolo and |Woody.
- The Flood are Baloo and Amidamaru.
- What Could Have Been: Halo 2 was originally to have ended where Halo 3s first half left off, making much of the campaign filler and resulting in a relatively story-cramped installment.
