• Hey, It's That Guy!:
  • Akira Shinmei is played by Hiroshi Miyauchi, who portrayed Shiro Kazami/Kamen Rider V 3. He'll also later portray Sokichi Bamba in JAKQ Dengekitai.
  • Kenji Ohba, who would later make a name for himself playing two later Sentai heroes (Battle Kenya and Denzi Blue) and Space Sheriff Gavan, was one of the stuntmen who wore the Aka Ranger suit from Episode 63 and onward. He also appears out-of-costume in a few episodes (such as Episode 75) as an EAGLE soldier.
  • Daisuke Ban (Jirō in Kikaider) plays an old buddy of Kenji Asuka in Episode 81. Becomes Hilarious in Hindsight when Daisuke Ban later shows up to replace Yukio Itoh in Battle Fever J.
  • Also, this show has a slew of Toei's best villain talent.
    • The voice of the Black Cross Fuhrer for the first 55 eps is Mitsuo Ando, who played Professor Gill in Kikaider.
    • Shozo Iizuka plays several roles in this series.
    • Eisuke Yoda (Volcano Mask General Magman) later provided the voice of Fuhrer Taboo in Dai Sentai Goggle Five.
    • Sunmask Shogun is Hiroshi Masuoka, best known as Master Roshi in Dragonball Z and Dragon Ball GT after the original voice actor's death.

  • The actor for the Black Cross Fuhrer was changed from Mitsuo Ando (best known for his role as Professor Gill from Kikaider) to Nobuo Yana from Episode 54 and onward. Incidentally, Nobuo Yana guest-starred in Episode 53 as Dr. Shinigami (not the one from Kamen Rider).
  • General Magman was originally voiced by Eisuke Yoda for his first three episodes (42-44), before he was replaced by Shozo Iizuka (also the voice of General Temjin and Grand General Golden Mask).
