Law & Order: LA/YMMV

Everything About Fiction You Never Wanted to Know.

  • Anvilicious: Refreshingly averted in "Hayden Tract", at least in regard to the game. If it had been a Jack McCoy vehicle, it would've turned into an Author Tract on how New Media Are Evil.
  • Fan Nickname: LOLA.
    • Also crosses over into the production itself as in one behind the scenes clip, you can hear someone say "LOLA" in reference to the show and crew.
  • Narrowed It Down to the Guy I Recognize: Lee Tergesen and Denise Crosby both in the same episode? Yeah, they're both guilty.
  • What an Idiot!: The golfer's son/murderer: You found the evidence, right? The murder weapon hidden in the bedr-- Oh Crap!
  • The Woobie: Erin Graydon in "Van Nuys", who witnesses the brutal killing of her best friend, is scared to death that the people who did that will come after her. Later she finds out that she was the real target of the killers because she works in the porn industry and her employer found out she was HIV positive. He knew that she'd undergo a mandatory test soon and that when the results of that test came out his business would be shut down for months, so he set her up to be killed. When testifying, the defense attorney makes the experience as embarrassing and difficult for her as possible. The way she reacts to all of this makes you feel very sorry for her and want to comfort her. An In-Universe example, as Jaruszalski becomes very protective of her.
