• Awesome Music / Ear Worm -- The openings to both seasons are incredibly catchy and cool-sounding, especially that of season two.
• Designated Hero -- In the broadcast episode of Gachiranger, the heroes act amoral and moronic, and do get called out on it.
• * Hollywood Pudgy -- Yet another of Mitsuba's issues.
  • Granted, however, that the show really does show her with some little rolls, which she is frequently shown squeezing in horror.
• * Les Yay -- Miku's mother for Mitsuba.
  • The rivalry between Mitsuba and Miku is filled with so much subtext that you don't even need yuri goggles to see it. Miku's habit of constantly taking pictures of Mitsuba (supposedly so she can use them for blackmail) doesn't help.
  • Miyashita's almost obsessive attempts to befriend Hitoha occasionally come off as this.
• Moe -- Alternately played straight and subverted.
  • Hitoha when she caught a cold.
• Nausea Fuel -- Let's just say that you should never let a Dojikko carry large bags full of urine samples.
• Toy Ship -- Futaba and Shinya.
• The Woobie -- Hitoha is rather shy, she often makes a scary face because she's in a situation she's scared of and she constantly fails to clear up the misunderstandings.
