  - Release date is now July 26 instead of August 2, to coincide with Persona 4 The Golden.
  - As of the E3 Trailer, all of the original Persona 4 voice actors, minus the aforementioned Chie and Teddie, have returned.
Broken Base: Labrys is a very controversial character - some like her, others hate that she was put in the game.
Fan Nickname: Teddie's Banchou vest is similar to M. Bison's attire, in some circles it has earned him the nickname "T. Bearson"
- Oddly enough, their original Japanese names, Kuma and Vega, are already somewhat similar.
- He's also occasionally called "Captain Teddie" by some fans.
- Galactic Punt / Trial of the Dragon returns from the original game for Chie's Mortal Blow.
Hilarious in Hindsight: If you recall, Atlus was responsible for localizing Arc System Works' very first Guilty Gear in PS1. Now, who gets asked to help make this game?
- When Aigis battles the other members of S.E.E.S in The Answer, what theme plays? "Heartful Cry". What is her theme in Arena where she gets to fight other Persona users (Akihiko and Mitsuru being two of them)? "Heartful Cry".
Internet Backdraft / They Changed It, Now It Sucks: Teddie's English voice was changed from Dave Wittenberg to Sam Riegel, due to Wittenberg being a unionized voice actor now. People were NOT happy, saying he sounded like Abridged!Krillin. In a subversion, the exact opposite happened when Erin Fitzgerald announced that she replaced Tracey Rooney as Chie.
- However, Atlus stated that casting changes for Arena does not mean that the changes will apply to The Golden.
